One for the Oldest-School Clippers fans

Click this link for a great article on the Clippers origins in San Diego. This perfectly describes why I fell for this team as a 9-year-old kid in 1978, and how the legacy of pain and heartbreak that all longtime Clippers fans have endured kicked in pretty much immediately thereafter. Some interesting reminiscence in here from hometown hero Bill Walton and play-by-play man Ralph Lawler (for those who don't know, he did all 6 years in San Diego before moving north along with the team), as well as appropriate color from the team's big star back in those days, the legendary World B. Free.
