To Whom It May Concern,
Ever since Sunday's game, I've been constantly reminded by the internet that the Lakers have 16 championships and the Clippers only have 1 division title. It is starting to get on my nerves.
Us Clipper fans know the Lakers have been a perennial winner and any reasonable fan would not dare to compare the Clipper's recent success to Lakers' winning legacy. None of us think the division title is bigger than your 16 championship. We are not rubbing it in. Stop making memes. Stop making blog posts. Stop making stupid 16 rings comments. This is why we don't like you guys.
We get it. Lakers is to Usain Bolt as the Clippers is to the fat kid who just finished his first mile in his PE class. This fat kid has been a loser for decades. Leave the fat kid alone and let him enjoy the one good thing he has in life. Although this is only a division title, it might mean more to a long suffering Clippers fan than what a title mean to a Lakers fan who is used to success.
Now I understand there are a lot of very reasonable Laker fans and this is not for them. This post is only addressed to those who are still butt hurt by Sunday's loss and like to bring up the past.
