Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

So according to the dynamic duo of Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN and Ronald Tillery of The Commercial Appeal, there will be two coaching candidates meeting with the Clippers Front Office as early as Monday of next week.

First the dynamic duo tells us that...

The Los Angeles Clippers plan to interview Indiana Pacers associate head coach Brian Shaw as soon as Monday, sources have told ESPN, as he and recently fired Denver Nuggets coach George Karl have emerged as the team's top choices to fill its head coaching vacancy.

Then Ronald Tillery is reporting the following...

Oh by the way, the Denver Nuggets have expressed, aside from the usual names, a possible interest in Alvin Gentry according to the Denver Post...

For the first time since the 2004-05 season, Denver needs a coach. And in the aftermath of George Karl's firing Thursday, the team is expected to look hard at Brian Shaw and Lionel Hollins, according to a league source. The Nuggets may also look at Alvin Gentry, a source said.
