Why MWP is a good choice at backup PF.

Some of us want him, and some of us don't. The reason we should sign MWP as a backup PF is because he can handle majority of the PF's in the league. He's bulky, strong, can stand his ground against other PF's, defends multiple positions whenever he needs to, hustles, and has great defense. If you don't think MWP can handle PF's think of this: Blake Griffin is a beast down low right? He weighs more than MWP right? NOPE, MWP actually weighs more than Griffin, and he stood his ground against him the best he could whenever they played (251lbs BG, 260lbs MWP). If you still don't think Metta can handle PF's here's another example: Zach Randolph MUST DEFINITELY weigh more than MWP right? NOPE, they're actually the same weight, so they're both 260lbs.

He wouldn't demand minutes, doesn't really care about stats, and he's a good teammate(never heard/read a complaint about him from teammates). The only thing that matters to him is winning. MWP as PF, and Odom(or whoever) as C. He's not my first priority, but he still has the skills that's valuable to a team. I think he'll be had for cheap because it seems like he doesn't want to relocate. Plus, HE'S HILARIOUS on twitter.

"A person with knowledge of World Peace's situation told USA TODAY Sports that he now has the Los Angeles Clippers atop his list of possible destinations. The Queensbridge, N.Y. native previously had his hometown New York Knicks as his preferred choice his list of favorites, but he is now said to be more interested in joining the new-look Clippers while being able to avoid relocating. Both teams appear to have interest in adding World Peace, but would only be able to offer him a veteran's minimum contract of $1.4 million annually." July 13, 2013.
