Could the Clips escape the month of March with one loss, or less?

Given their new found depth and confidence, how do Doc and company really view the upcoming schedule for March?

Let preview the schedule first:

Wed Mar 12

vs Golden State

Fri Mar 14

@ Utah

Sun Mar 16

vs Cleveland

Mon Mar 17

@ Denver

Sat Mar 22

vs Detroit

Mon Mar 24

vs Milwaukee

Wed Mar 26

@ New Orleans

Thu Mar 27

@ Dallas

Sat Mar 29

@ Houston

Mon Mar 31

@ Minnesota

It's too easy to scoff at the cast of characters that Doc and company will encounter over the next 30 days. Truth be told however, as part of their quest to become a top-tier contender, the Clips are in fact, projecting wins and losses, based on the remaining schedule. Of course, they could never admit it tho.

With their new-found enthusiasm, it's reasonable to expect that the Clips won't lose a game this month to patsies (err, genuine underdogs). Besides, by game-time those teams will either be playing their youngsters (tanking), or resting their vets, since they're already stuck in one-and-done playoff positions anyway. As for the remaining opponents, In each game, they will all be facing a Clippers team that's better than themselves, based on the standings and/or head-to-head play. Conventional wisdom says the games with Phoenix, Golden State, Houston, and possible Minnesota, will be the most contested, although the Clips should be favored in at least 5 of those 6 games.

Patsies, or otherwise, if the Clips want to break into the top-tier, then they need to embrace the rest of the reg-season schedule and simply win like crazy.
