Mark Travis is working on the recap, but we need a new thread if nothing else. The Clippers had a very good first half and a very bad second half and lost Game 6 to fall in the Western Conference Semifinals four games to two. If we were expecting the referees to make up for any injustice in Game 5, we certainly didn't get that. The referees didn't take the game the way they did in Oklahoma City, but they certainly didn't help as the fourth quarter included a series of calls that went against the Clippers, including the single worst call I've ever seen when an offensive foul was called on Chris Paul when Nick Collison jumped on him, wiping away a DeAndre Jordan dunk that would have cut the lead to five.
Those calls may have affected the Clippers down the stretch, but overall the Clippers lost this game because they couldn't make shots, plain and simple.
