London Perrantes is a 6’2” point guard from the University of Virginia. In his senior year, he scored 12.7 points per game while averaging 3.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds. Virginia has been a very successful program recently and featured one of the nation’s best defenses. Perrantes is an LA local, playing his high school ball at Crespi. DraftExpress projects him as undrafted.
Nigel Williams-Goss is a 6’4” guard from Gonzaga. He played two years for the University of Washington before transferring. In his senior season, he averaged 16.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists, along with 1.7 steals. DraftExpress has him at pick 57 in their latest Mock Draft.
Isaac Hamilton is a 6’5” guard from UCLA. Another L.A. native, Hamilton played for St. John Bosco in high school. In his senior year at UCLA, he averaged 14.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. In his junior year, playing in a larger role before the arrival of Lonzo Ball, he averaged 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. DraftExpress projects him as undrafted.
Malcolm Hill is a 6’6” wing from the University of Illinios. In his senior season, he averaged 17.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists. DraftExpress projects him as undrafted.
Tyler Cavanaugh is a 6’7” forward from George Washington University. He transferred from Wake Forest after his sophomore year, redshirting the 2015 season and playing the last two years at GW. During his senior season, he averaged 18.3 points and 8.4 rebounds, shooting 41% from beyond the arc. DraftExpress projects him as undrafted.
Michael Young is a 6’9” power forward from the University of Pittsburgh. In his senior season, he averaged 19.6 points and 6.8 rebounds, shooting 34.4% from deep. DraftExpress projects him as undrafted.
The Clippers are clearly looking at undrafted prospects for their summer league and D-League rosters. If they really become impressed with a specific prospect, they may consider buying into the second round of the draft to make a selection, like they did with Branden Dawson in the 2015 NBA Draft. Currently, the Clippers have no selections for this year’s draft next month.
