San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - San Antonio guard Tony Parker made his triumphant return Friday night in the Spurs' 109-98 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, following a nine-game absence due to a left ankle sprain.
Parker originally suffered the injury in the first quarter of a November 7 99-83 loss to the Miami Heat. He was expected to be out approximately four weeks with a sprained left ankle after an MRI revealed a grade two ankle sprain.
He had 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting and totaled seven assists in a reserve role Friday night.
