Wade is Shutting it Down
If indeed it is the Clippers' goal to lose as many games as possible in order to secure as many pong pong balls as possible, the opponents are not all cooperating. In their last win against the Kings, Sacramento's leading scorers Kevin Martin and Ron Artest both sat out. Today Miami, already sporting the worst record in the NBA, announced that Dwyane Wade is done for the season, just hours before the Heat's meeting with the Clippers.
I guess Shawn Marion is finally going to find out what it feels like to be the man. It's going to feel pretty rotten, is my guess.

Wade does appear injury plagued
I think that an intense NBA Finals run followed by Team USA basketball wore him down. He did put up a great PER number last year, but he wore down and missed a lot of games due to injury. He needs more rest.
