Remember back in the 80s when these two teams were going out for the whole decade?

R Dizzle don't know jack about this old skool rivalry...I've heard stories, I've heard rumors, but it unfortunately doesn't bring back any memories for me.

Everyone loves a good old fashioned Game 7, right?

Is this going to be the first time that in their franchise history that the Hornets make it to  the Conference Finals? 

Two first year all-stars  (one of which shouldn't have been...but whatever),  56 wins, 2nd seed in the Western Conference = magical season.

But, the Spurs don't seem to want to give up...

Hey, Celtics, do you think you guys can win a game on the road?  After going a league-best 31-10 in the regular season, these guys can't seem to find it in 'em to pull it off away from the lovely city of Boston.

But how come?  You would think Garnett, Allen, and Pierce wouldn't choke during the playoffs, but they all forgot to show up to a few games.  Interesting how the "Big 3" becomes the "Big 2" when it's go time...

Is tonight going to be any different?

Here's the other reason I hate LeBron James.  I can't even have my daily dose of Powerade without seeing his face.  Nuts to this man...

Anyway, big props to Delonte West on his game winning three in the last 5 seconds of last night's game against the Wizards.  It looks it'll be yet another year that the Cavs will knock the Wizards out of the playoffs as they took a 3-1 lead in the series.  Peep the highlights!

Giants - Patriots.

Yeah yeah, the Patriots beat the Chargers. Whatever...that wasn't too unexpected...

But Eli Manning and the G-Men are in the Super Bowl? Say what?!?! If anyone got to catch that game two weeks ago, you caught a very heart pounding contest. Favre throwing INT and INT? Tynes missing field goal after field goal and then finally hitting the game winner? Eli not crying for once?

Go Eli??

I will say this - the Giants deserve their props. Call it skill, call it luck, they made it to the Super Bowl and who really saw that coming? I applaud the G-Men...congratulations.

Don't ya just love the NFL playoffs?

Romo choked! Romo choked! Romo choked!

Man, I love saying that! Weren't the Cowboys supposed to make it to the Super Bowl? In 4 quarters a poor performance by Tony Romo and a poised Eli Manning (did I really just write that?) the Cowboys were knocked out of the playoffs. Was it Romo's trip to Mexico with Jessica Simpson? Who knows. Does it really matter? Nope. Where does the blame go? Penalties - 11 for 84 yards.

Who is this guy and what did he do with Eli Manning?

Norv Turner can't win in the playoffs? What? The Chargers upset over the Colts was the most improbable situation to ever happen - LT was injured in the first half Rivers was injured in the 3rd quarter and yet the Chargers' backups pulled it together. Backup QB Billy Volek put together a 78 yard drive in the final 5 minutes of the game to take the lead. Then, the Chargers defense stepped in and stopped Manning and the Colts on 4th down. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Norv Turner knows what he's doing!
