Eerily Quiet

The Allen Iverson rumor factory appears to have shut down for the time being.  Not that there was ever much real news, but in the last 24 hours there has been NOTHING.  Not even the non-news of say, another team announcing that they aren't in the running.

It's after midnight here in LA, and there are a couple of articles up on the East coast papers' web sites, notably the Boston Herald and the Philadephia Inquirer.

But Mark Murphy of the Herald, whose Celtics played in Phily last night, says only that Billy King has become 'scarce.'

Joe Juliano of the Inquirer makes only a passing reference to Iverson in his coverage of the Sixers - Celtics game.

For a trade that was supposed to happen quickly, this sure is taking a long time.
