Although the 20 turnovers (including a couple of stretches of 3 or 4 possessions in a row) were a concern, the rest of the game looked just like we drew it up. Brand scoring, Brand and Kaman blocking shots, Livingston pushing the tempo, Thomas and Mobley making shots and Maggette getting to the line.
The Clippers won the first quarter by 6, the second quarter by 7 and the third quarter by 6. By the time the Knicks made a 16-2 run in the fourth, the game was already over. And for good measure, the Clippers came back with 6 straight, just to make sure.
Bring on the new ball.
