Summer League Game 4: Clippers vs. Bulls

New, comments

Tonight at 5:30 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, the Los Angeles Clippers will play their fourth summer league game against the Chicago Bulls. The Clippers enter tonight with a 1-2 record, and the Bulls enter at 0-3.

Player Notes:

Clippers:

Eric Bledsoe, Trey Thompkins, and Travis Leslie will all not play tonight. Bledsoe has done his time, and the other two are injured. None will play in the Clippers SL finale either.

Adam Morrison has continued lighting up the summer league, averaging just under 19 points and 5 rebounds a game on 56% shooting from the field and 60% shooting from beyond the arc- magnificent numbers to say the least.

Hilton Armstrong has averaged 8 points and 6 rebounds on 56% shooting, and has also averaged 3.3 blocks a night.

Armstrong and Morrison are the leading contenders for a camp invite.

Bulls:

Jimmy Butler, the 6'7" SG from Marquette, appeared in 42 games last season for the Bulls as a rookie.

Leon Powe has appeared in 239 games for the Celtics, Cavaliers, and Grizzlies. He did not play in the league last season, and has been unimpressive so far in the Summer League.

Malcolm Thomas appeared in three games for the Spurs last season.

PG Marquis Teague was selected with the 29th pick in July by the Bulls
