This is a pretty good little article from this morning's LA Times by Ben Bolch. He interviews Matt Barnes and we learn a bit more about how Chris Paul suggested Barnes to Clips management and then personally recruited Barnes. Barnes also recently sought out Blake Griffin and tried to clear the air (after throwing Griffin to the floor in the heat of battle last December).
It's pretty interesting to me that two players who started their careers with the Clippers are returning, willingly, to the fold this year. Matt Barnes and Lamar Odom left in vastly different circumstances but both have had negative things to say about the Clips after leaving and both later had their problems with Griffin (because you know, Griffin's a flopping, whining punk, who also happens to be one of the best... and most popular... young players in the league). I think it's pretty telling that both seem happy to be on the same side as the guy now. Of course that also has a lot to do with the guy wearing number three and running the point as well.
