Clippers Vs. Blazers -- NBA 3 on 3 Tournament

The NBA 3 on 3 Tournament got underway on Tuesday, and today the Los Angeles Clippers are playing the Portland Trail Blazers.

As you'll recall, the Clippers 3 on 3 team consists of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Lamar Odom. Paul and Griffin are there to be awesome and to run a devastating pick and roll that is hard to stop in 5 on 5 but impossible to stop in 3 on 3. Odom is there to be versatile, make plays, defend bigs and wings, that sort of thing.

Portland's team has LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum and rookie Damian Lillard. I love both Aldridge and Batum, and Lillard looked great in summer league, but sending a rookie into battle against Chris Paul just isn't fair.

So who do you think is going to win this hypothetical showdown and advance in the tournament (I have a feeling I already know the answer)? The results will be announced in a few hours.

[Note by Steve Perrin, 09/06/12 11:30 PM PDT ] If you're happening upon this now and wondering why a poll on Clips Nation has the Clippers losing to the Blazers but haven't yet been to the comments section, be aware that BlazersEdgehighjacked our poll, and those guys are nuts (in a totally good way, but nuts). The update on the tournament is that the Clippers did win this matchup and move on to the second round, despite the results of the poll.
