The Heat are going after number 27 and the Nuggets and Grizzlies are both on the road against potentially dangerous teams.

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

There's no Florida Gulf Coast to watch tonight, just that other red hot Florida team, Florida South Beach. The Clippers rivals for third place in the West are both in action which means that a few hours from now the Clippers could find themselves in third or possibly tied for fourth.

Memphis at Washington, 4:00 PM

Miami at Orlando, 4:00 PM. ESPN

Atlanta at Indiana, 4:00 PM

Denver at New Orleans, 5:00 PM

Philadelphia at Utah, 6:00 PM

LA Lakers at Golden State, 7:30 PM, NBA-TV, Time Warner Cable

The Grizzlies and Nuggets are both playing teams near the bottom of their conferences -- but the Wizards and Hornets are both capable of putting together good games, so either one of them could pull off the upset. Especially in Washington, where Memphis will again be without the injured Marc Gasol, the Grizzlies could be in trouble. It would certainly help the Clippers if one or both of those teams would be decent enough to lose a few games here.

The Heat are in Orlando and shouldn't have too much trouble recording consecutive win number 27. The game is on ESPN.

The Lakers are visiting the Warriors in Oakland in an important game for the other LA team. The Lakers look relatively safe for the playoffs still, but only because the Jazz have completely gone to pieces. At this point the purple and gold might have to worry more about the Mavericks, who are as close to .500 as they've been for a very long time. Of course, the Clippers will be trying to do the Lakers a favor by beating the Mavericks tomorrow night.
