Clippers 2013 NBA Playoffs Schedule

New, comments

The playoffs open Saturday in STAPLES Center when the big bad blue bears come to town.

Kirby Lee-US PRESSWIRE

Here is the playoff schedule for the Los Angeles Clippers this year. We've known since Denver beat Phoenix Wednesday that the Clippers would face the Memphis Grizzlies, and we're known since the final buzzer last night in Sacramento that the series would open in Los Angeles at STAPLES Center. Here are the rest of the details:

Game 1 - Sat April 20, Memphis at L.A. Clippers, 7:30 p.m., ESPN, FS West

Game 2 - Mon April 22, Memphis at L.A. Clippers, 7:30 p.m., TNT, Prime Ticket

Game 3 - Thu April 25, L.A. Clippers at Memphis, 6:30 p.m., TNT, Prime Ticket

Game 4 - Sat April 27, L.A. Clippers at Memphis, 1:30 p.m., TNT, Prime Ticket

Game 5 * Tue April 30, Memphis at L.A. Clippers, TBD, TBD, TBD

Game 6 * Fri May 3, L.A. Clippers at Memphis, TBD, TBD, TBD

Game 7 * Sun May 5, Memphis at L.A. Clippers, TBD, TBD, TBD

* if necessary

The series opens Saturday night. As the lone team in the Pacific time zone with home court advantage in the first round, the Clippers will play the late game whenever they are at home. Likewise, you can be pretty much assured that those TBD times for games 5 and 7 will likely be 7:30 (business as usual at STAPLES) if those games are indeed necessary.

It does not appear that Prime Ticket will be broadcasting the playoff games, so sadly, if you want to listen to Ralph and Mike, you'll have to turn down the TV, turn up the radio, and stay away from the DVR buttons.

My bad, all first round games will be on Prime Ticket. Hat tip to Lawler's Law for finding Ralph Lawler's tweet on the subject and posting it in the comments below.
