According to Woj, the Clippers have upped their offer, and are near an agreement with the Celtics.

The issue on Friday was, reportedly, that the Clippers were only offering a second round pick while the Celtics wanted a first. It only makes sense to offer a first round pick - the deal when Kevin Garnett was involved included two first rounders.
The question now is regarding Doc Rivers. There were rumors that he was angry at the Clippers and no longer pursuing the head coaching job. These always seemed absurd to me. He's not in this negotiation process. His deal with the Clippers is already agreed upon for 5 years and $35M. So why wouldn't he want to come to the Clippers and coach a contender? It just never really made sense that anything going on in the negotiation process between the Clippers and Celtics regarding compensation for Rivers would make him not want to come to Los Angeles.
The other thing left to be decided is what year the pick will be in. The Clippers will likely try to make it the 2015 pick, but Boston will probably push for the 2014. This shouldn't be that big of an issue. Either way it will be a low pick, especially if the Clippers end up acquiring Paul Pierce and/or Kevin Garnett in the coming weeks.

[Update by Lucas Hann, 6/23/2013 1:49PM]
Woj now reports that the teams are nearing a deal, and that the Clippers have offered their 2014 first rounder, resolving the above question of what year they were offering.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>NBA source said <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23clippers&src=hash">#clippers</a> have offered 2014 first-round pick to <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23celtics&src=hash">#celtics</a> for Rivers. Great draft. Low pick</p>— gary washburn (@GwashNBAGlobe) <a href="https://twitter.com/GwashNBAGlobe/statuses/348902726287118336">June 23, 2013</a></blockquote>
