Los Angeles Clippers 2013-14 schedule released

It's official, the Clippers will play 82 games next season, and they'll face all of the 29 other NBA teams. Glad we got that established.

The NBA schedule was released today, and the Los Angeles Clippers schedule is now available at Clippers.com. Here is the official press release on the schedule. Here is Eric Patten's post breaking down the significant points of the schedule. I'll be back soon with some high level analysis of what's in store this season.

As we already knew, the Clippers open the season on October 29th against the Lakers (in a Lakers home game) as part of TNT's opening night coverage. They face the Warriors in their home opener two nights later, on Halloween Night, which means one thing -- Clippers Spirit in sexy costumes! Oh, and Steph Curry, too.

From the press release:

The Clippers play 10 of their first 16 games at STAPLES Center, starting their home schedule on Halloween night when they take on the Golden State Warriors. Other STAPLES Center highlights to start the season is a tilt against Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets on Monday, Nov. 4, a matchup with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, Nov. 13 and a contest against Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, Nov. 16.

The Clippers' 29 nationally televised games is the second-highest number in franchise history, with the Clippers scheduled to appear twice on ABC, 10 times on TNT, nine times on ESPN and eight times on NBA TV.
