The Phoenix Suns were expected to be among the worst teams in the entire NBA last season, but instead challenged for a playoff spot in the mighty Western Conference until the final week of the regular season. They also played the Pacific Division champion Los Angeles Clippers tough on more than one occasion, handing the Clippers their worst home loss of the season along the way.
The Clippers hope to be even better this season. As for the Suns, they'll have the weight of expectations on their shoulders this year too, but as a young team, they certainly should be getting better, maybe even a lot better. How do the two teams match up? And what of erstwhile Clipper Eric Bledsoe, who recently signed a near max deal to stay in Phoenix?
Our own Adithya joined Kris Habbas of Bright Side of the Sun for the Bright Side podcast to discuss the two teams and what we can expect from them this season. Can the Suns break through and join the top eight in the postseason this year? Can the Clippers break through to the very top?
