The Clippers will probably be without Blake Griffin for tonight's game against the Timberwolves after Griffin experienced back spasms in Houston. With just eight regular season games remaining, the Clippers won't take any chances.
For the first time this season, and for the first time in the last 105 games, the Clippers took the court without Blake Griffin. They were also without Jamal Crawford and J.J. Redick. It went about as well as it could despite all the injuries.
The Clippers are 2-1 on their road trip so far after two straight wins in Texas. Next up, the Timberwolves, but the Clippers will have their work cut out for them, especially if Blake Griffin misses the game with back spasms.
The Clippers can sweep yet another conference rival with the Timberwolves tonight, but it won't be easy on the road and in all probability without Blake Griffin, who experienced back spasm Monday in Houston.
