NBA Landscape Update 1.1 Details

In the ever changing world of the NBA Off-Season, things have happened. Here are the changes that were made in the NBA Landscape between versions 1.0 and 1.1.

The NBA Landscape is only good if it's current, and as a result I'll be doing my best to keep it current and updated to all of the player movements throughout this summer.  Also, every time I publish a major update I intend to put out an accompanying article detailing what changes have been made.

The original Landscape, Landscape 1.0, never even made it to publish.  There were changes before I could finish it and put it out.  Instead, the first version of the Landscape that became public was Landscape 1.1.  Here are the details of the changes between Landscape 1.0 and Landscape 1.1 (essentially, everything that's happened in the off-season up to this point):


  • Andray Blatche (BKN) declines player option for $1,437,906; replaced with cap hold for $1,788,285 (130% of previous salary) source
  • Josh McRoberts (CHA) declines player option for $2,711,340; replaced with cap hold for $5,038,800 (190% of previous salary) source
  • DAL accepts Jae Crowder's team option for $915,245 source
  • Darrell Arthur (DEN) accepts player option for $3,457,149 source
  • Nate Robinson (DEN) accepts player option for $2,106,720 source
  • Jonas Jerebko (DET) accepts player option for $4,500,000 source
  • Francisco Garcia (HOU) declines player option for $1,316,809; replaced by cap hold for $915,243 (cap hit for veteran's minimum) source
  • Darren Collison (LAC) declines player option for $1,985,500; replaced by cap hold for $2,280,000 (120% of previous salary) source
  • Glen Davis (LAC) declines player option for $1,227,985; replaced by cap hold for $915,243 (cap hit for veteran's minimum) source
  • Danny Granger (LAC) declines player option for $1,316,809; replaced by cap hold for $915,243 (cap hit for veteran's minimum) source
  • Nick Young (LAL) declines player option for $1,227,985; replaced by cap hold for $915,243 (cap hit for veteran's minimum) source
  • Anthony Morrow (NOP) declines player option for $1,145,685; replaced by cap hold for $915,243 (cap hit for veteran's minimum) source
  • Amar'e Stoudemire (NYK) declines early termination option; returns for $23,410,988 in 2015 season source
  • Jason Richardson (PHI) accepts player option for $6,601,125 source
  • Mo Williams (POR) declines player option for $2,771,340; replaced by cap hold for $3,182,400 (120% of previous salary) source
