NBA Landscape Update 1.3 Details

In this update... a lot happened.

In this update, we had a few pieces of news from the last few days (I've been out of the loop helping my brother move in) as well as a whole ton of news from the last few hours.  Man, the draft can be a crazy time, even if the Clippers had a relatively calm day.  Here's the changes made between Landscape versions 1.2 and 1.3:

  • Tim Duncan (SAS) accepts player option for $10,361,446 source
  • Andrei Kirilenko (BKN) accepts player option for $3,263,235 source
  • Channing Frye (PHX) delinces player option for $6,800,000, replaced with cap hold for $9,600,000 (150% of previous salary)
  • LeBron James (MIA) exercises early termination option, opts out of two years, $42,702,500, replaced with cap hold for $20,20,875 (maximum salary)
  • Dallas acquires Tyson Chandler's $14,596,888 salary and Raymond Felton's $3,793,693 salary in trade with NYK
  • New York acquires Jose Calderon's $7,097,191 salary, Samuel Dalembert's $3,867,282 partially guaranteed salary, Wayne Ellington's $2,771,340 salary, and Shane Larkin's $1,606,080 salary in trade with DAL
  • Samuel Dalembert's (NYK) salary adjusted from $3,867,282 to $4,051,527 because of his trade kicker.  Guaranteed portion adjusted from $1,800,000 to $1,984,245.
  • Denver acquires Arron Afflalo's $7,500,000 salary in trade with ORL
  • Orlando acquires Evan Fournier's $1,483,920 salary in trade with DEN
  • Teams' cap holds for first round picks updated to reflect player chosen with that pick for all 30 picks
  • Chicago acquires Doug McDermott's $1,898,300 cap hold and Anthony Randolph's $1,825,359 salary in trade with DEN
  • Denver acquires Jusuf Nurkic's $1,468,900 cap hold and Gary Harris' $1,266,000 cap hold in trade with CHI
  • Philadelphia acquires Dario Saric's $1,803,400 cap hold in trade with ORL
  • Orlando acquires Elfrid Payton's $1,998,200 cap hold in trade with PHI
  • Miami acquires Shabazz Napier's $1,032,200 cap hold in trade with CHA
  • Charlotte acquires P.J. Hairston's $958,100 cap hold in trade with MIA
  • Cleveland acquires Brendan Haywood's $2,213,688 salary in trade with CHA
  • Charlotte acquires Alonzo Gee's $3,000,000 salary in trade with CLE
  • Note: The Omer Asik trade is not reflected in the Landscape because it cannot become official until July 10th
  • Note: While teams own the rights to their various second round picks, they do not have cap holds, so those players will remain out of the Landscape until they sign contracts
Update 1.3A: Update 1.3 has been amended to include the following two developments:
  • Byron Mullens (PHI) declines player option for $1,063,384 in 2015, replaced  by cap hold for $915,243 (veteran's minimum)
  • Zach Randolph (MEM) accepts player option for $16,938,333 in 2015, signs 2 year/$20,000,000 extension to run through 2017
  • Alan Anderson (BKN) declines player option for $1,063,384 in 2015, replaced by cap hold for $915,243 (veteran's minimum)
