On Saturday morning, the Clippers leaked that they have waived Willie Green's unguaranteed contract. This move was a little bit of a no-brainer, as Green makes almost $1.5 million and is one of four shooting guards on the team.

Right now, Green's cap hit matches his $1,448,490 salary. However, if the Clippers simply re-signed Green to a veteran's minimum deal during free agency, he would only have a cap hit of $915,243 while maintaining his original salary. It appears that the Clippers would like to re-sign Green for this lesser amount:
