Clippers Release Summer League Roster

The Clippers' final Summer League roster was announced this afternoon, shortly after the team disclosed thatReggie Bullock and CJ Wilcox would not be playing.  The roster features a few recognizable names, including Delonte West, DeAndre Liggins, Armon Johnson, and Jon Brockman.

West is about to turn 31 later this month, and he averaged 9.7 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in 27.4 minutes a game in 432 career NBA appearances over the course of eight years.  He previously played for Doc Rivers in Boston, but has a (recently disputed) history as somewhat of a headcase that has kept him out of the league.

DeAndre Liggins was a second round pick out of Kentucky in 2011 who hasn't played much in any of his three NBA campaigns.  The 6'6", 26 year old wing player played exactly one minute in one game for Miami last season, giving him a PER of 129.47, which is kinda funny.

Armon Johnson is a 6'3", 25 year old point guard who was a second round pick in 2010.  He has 47 career NBA appearances, averaging 3.3 points, 1.2 assists, and 1 rebound a game in 8.5 minutes.

Jon Brockman is a 6'7", 27 year old PF who played three seasons with the Bucks.  He hasn't been in the NBA since 2012, but has appeared in 150 NBA games.

There are two other NBA veterans on the roster: Keith Benson and Lorenzo Brown.

Keith Benson is a 6'11", 25 year old PF who played 9 minutes in his only 3 NBA games for the Warriors in 2012.

Lorenzo Brown is a 6'5" combo guard who appeared in 26 games for Philadelphia last year, averaging 2.5 points, 1.1 assists, and 1 rebound in 8.6 minutes a night.

Also on the roster are several rookies: Cameron Clark, Will Clyburn, Shawn Jones, Kyle Kuric, Amath M'Baye, and Aziz N'Diaye.

Cameron Clark is a 22 year old 6'6" wing player from Oklahoma.

Will Clyburn is a 6'7" SF who played for Iowa State in college before appearing in Europe last season

Kyle Kuric is a 6'4", 24 year old SG who has been overseas after playing his college ball for Louisville.

Shawn Jones is a 6'8", 22 year old PF from Middle Tennessee State.

Amath M'Baye is a 6'9", 24 year old PF who played for Oklahoma before going overseas.

Aziz N'Diaye is a 26 year old 7-foot C from Senegal who played his college ball for Washington.
