WATCH: Paul Pierce wishing for a Clippers championship

The L.A. Clippers are in China for the NBA Global Games, and on Monday they visited a Buddhist temple in Shanghai. When in Rome, right? Er, Shanghai.

The Los Angeles Clippers brought Paul Pierce back to his hometown this summer for a variety of reasons. It never hurts to have an experienced, championship-proven veteran in the locker room, and they're hoping he can also give them some offensive punch at a position that lacked in that area a season ago. But that's not all! Pierce is pulling out all the stops necessary to bring a title to Clipperland.

During their tour of China, the players have had ample time to do a little sightseeing. Some of them visited a Buddhist temple in Shanghai on Monday, where Pierce tried to conjure some divine intervention for his club (video via Branden Dawson's Instagram):

What he said lol! Gotta love my guy Paul #ThaTRUTH

You heard the man. A championship is coming, folks. No word yet on whether Pierce rubbed Buddha's belly, though.
