Well so much for entering the first game of the pre-season injury free. Per Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times, Clippers guard Lance Stephenson injured his pubic bone at practice on Thursday.
Clippers said Lance Stephenson (pubic bone inflammation) came out of practice ok but his game status won't be known until after shootaround.

Now I don't know much about a pubic bone inflammation, but hopefully it's not as bad as the injury Baron Davis was reported to have a few years back:
The good news is that Stephenson's injury does not appear to be serious. The potentially bad news is that Clippers fans that have been waiting all off-season to see one of the new Clippers might have to wait a game or two to see him. Stephenson was acquired by the Clippers from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Matt Barnes and Spencer Hawes. He will more than likely be the defensive stopper off the bench for the Clippers, who are hoping that a change in scenery will allow Stephenson to be more of the player he was in Indiana, prior to his move to Charlotte.
