According to Dan Woike of the Orange County Register, Paul Pierce and Pablo Prigioni are both out tonight. Pierce will rest on tonight's second leg of a back-to-back in which he saw heavy minutes last night. Prigioni is sick and stayed at the team's hotel instead of traveling to the game.
Ben Bolch of the LA Times also reported that J.J. Redick will return tonight after missing time with back spasms following a shove from Zaza Pachulia last week.
Doc Rivers told media last night and today that Chris Paul did not aggravate his strained groin against the Warriors, and would continue to play.
With Redick returning, the starting SG position should be filled, leaving SF as the only question mark. Lance Stephenson started all the other games where the main 4 starters were intact, but he's been in the doghouse recently, and when asked, Doc only said that Lance would "probably" play tonight. Jamal Crawford and Austin Rivers are both undersized, leaving a chance for Wes Johnson to get his first start in a Clippers uniform.
