On Friday, Darren Wolfson of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities tweeted that:
Another team that likes Shabazz, I hear: Clippers. But Milt not moving. Martin (wrist) doing well this morning. Good to go tonight. #twolves

This tweet comes as rumors have begun to swirl again that Doc Rivers is poking around the Association to gauge the interest in Josh Smith and Lance Stephenson. In this case though, it is unclear exactly how the Clippers would pull a trade off for Shabazz. The Clippers do not have much to offer in youth (Branden Dawson and C.J. Wilcox) and Minnesota does not need really any veteran players when their minutes would cut into the playing time of the promising youngsters that the Minnesota Timberwolves have.
On the season, Muhammad is averaging 8.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per 17.4 minutes played per game. He is 23 years old and in his third season in the Association. He has one more season on contract after 2015-2016.
