After his best game as a Clipper against the Jazz, Paul Pierce is getting the nod tonight to start at power forward in place of the injured Blake Griffin. Pierce will face his former team the Wizards, and look to regain some of last year's playoff magic.
Paul Pierce starting

With Pierce starting, it's unknown what role Josh Smith will play off the bench, especially with Washington much more willing to go small this season. If the over/under is set at 10 minutes, I'd probably take the under.
After a seemingly bad ankle sprain, Austin Rivers has declared himself available for tonight's game after having tested the injury in warm ups. Although it's not known if Doogie will be on a minutes restriction, he will likely supplant Pablo Prigioni as backup pg with the reserves. Pablo seemed to be building a nice chemistry with Cole Aldrich, it will be interesting to see if Jamal or Lance can maintain that.
Austin Rivers just said he will be available tonight. Did a workout this morning and then pregame and felt good enough to play
