Clips Nation Night Details

Here are the details for Clips Nation Night tonight at STAPLES Center. There are still some tickets left, and our reputation with Group Sales only improves with every ticket we sell, so if you're on the bench, get off and get in the game.

Veranda Bar, Hotel Figueroa

Meet Steve at the Veranda Bar in the Hotel Figueroa, just north of STAPLES Center, starting at 5:30. The Figueroa is a classic old LA landmark, located at 939 S. Figueroa St. The Veranda Bar is straight through the lobby, back by the pool. There's a happy hour with tacos and drafts, with a couple of local craft beers available on tap. It's very laid back.

I'll be there from the very start in Clippers regalia, so come on by and say hi.

Court time

At the conclusion of the Clippers-Blazers game (a very big game in which the Clippers need a win) we'll meet on the Main Concourse at the entrance to Section 112. If you are planning to play, you will need to fill out the waiver form. If you can print it out now and bring it tonight, it will save time, but you'll have a chance to fill them out on site as well.

To play you will need to have appropriate basketball attire, including shorts, athletic shoes with non-marking soles and both a white T-shirt and dark T-shirt (or a reversible jersey) so we can identify teams.

In order to get psyched up for the game, you might want to watch citizen video from last season's Clips Nation Night or the one from Clips Nation Night festivitties two years ago! Sadly Carlos can't be there tonight, so the position of official videographer is up for grabs. Maybe if we get a few sets of video, Carlos can still cut together the final product for us?
