NBA Playoffs April 21 open thread

Three NBA games on the schedule tonight, including the next opponent for the Clippers, should they advance into the second round. Let's go Mavs!

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Home teams are 9-1 in the playoffs so far. We're still waiting for Game 2 of Clippers-Spurs, but three more games on the schedule tonight.

Boston Celtics at Cleveland Cavaliers, 4:00 PM, TNT -- Cavs lead series 1-0

The Celtics were much more competitive in Game 1 than most people thought they would be, and frankly, if Kyrie Irving didn't have a completely ridiculous game shooting the ball, I don't think Cleveland wins that game. And where the hell is Kevin Love? What did they do to him in Cleveland? Remember when he was the "Best Power Forward in the NBA"? I predicted a short series for the Cavs in this one, and now I'm not so sure.

Washington Wizards at Toronto Raptors, 5:00 PM, NBA-TV -- Raptors lead series 1-0

This is the one series where a road team won Game 1, with the Wizards taking an overtime victory. And really, who cares? Stupid Eastern Conference.

Dallas Mavericks at Houston Rockets, 6:30 PM, TNT -- Rockets lead series 1-0

Not that we're thinking ahead, but if the Clippers do advance to the second round, their opponent will be one of these two teams. The Rockets won Game 1, but Dallas certainly seemed capable of making it a series. The Clippers would love for Dallas to win this one, for the simple reason that they'd have home court advantage against the Mavs but not against the Rockets. So we're all Mavericks fans tonight (not that it's particularly difficult to root against Houston).
