Today's NBA slate has only 2 games, both of which are on TNT (maybe just mute the sound):

Chicago at Miami

Portland at Golden State

Of these two games, the only game that could really have any impact on the Clippers is the Trailblazers versus the Warriors.

Portland (51-27) at Golden State (63-15)

Time: 7:30 pm PST

Impact: Golden State is attempting to avoid losing three games in a row for the first time this season, coming off of loses to the Spurs and Pelicans. The Trailblazers are playing on the SEGABABA having won at home against the Timberwolves the night before. This game has no implications for the Warriors, who have locked up home court advantage in the Western Conference, and thus they may choose to rest some starters. However, Kerr has also been vocal about wanting to stay focused and in a winning rhythm going into the playoffs, so we may see a competitive Warriors team tonight, especially at home against a potential 2nd round opponent. The Blazers are fighting for their home court lives in the playoffs, needing to win every game the rest of the way, but that still may not be enough. Through divisional loopholes, they cannot fall below a 4th seed in the standings, after their loss in Brooklyn, they sit one loss behind both the Clippers and Spurs record wise, meaning they don't control their own destiny. With how hot the Clippers and Spurs have been, it looks like the Blazers will be packing their bags to start the playoffs, but a loss tonight would give the Clippers a little more breathing room.
