CLIPPERS WIN I DON'T BELIEVE IT

I don't know if I've seen our Clippers play a better game in the postseason.

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

THE CLIPPERS ARE GOING TO THE SECOND ROUND. IT'S ALL HAPPENING.

The Clippers needed everyone to step up tonight. Everyone did. 111-109. Best game of the series, best game of Chris Paul's career.

Glen Davis persevered through a tough ankle sprain and gave the Clippers some huge minutes tonight, including a big-time block on the ageless Tim Duncan.

Matt Barnes came out hot in the first quarter and made hustle play after hustle play down the stretch.

Jamal Crawford returned in style and provided a massive boost for a team that sorely needed him tonight. He also made a few huge shots down the stretch.

J.J. Redick stepped up when the Spurs threatened to pull away in the fourth quarter by hitting a pair of massive three pointers.

DeAndre Jordan didn't have the flashiest game, but he made plays that counted, like everyone else on the roster. He didn't play at all down the stretch as the Clippers went to a small group for the second game in a row.

Blake Griffin. What a magnificent bastard. Another triple-double, another huge playoff performance in what became a spectacular series for one of the best young players in the league.

And Chris Paul. Chris Fucking Paul. This just might be the finest game of his career. The man played hurt through a bum hamstring that would have felled many a mere mortal. He left for a quarter after suffering the injury, head buried in his hands. But he returned, he persevered, he came back and made huge shot after huge shot for the rest of the game, culminating in the GAME WINNER, SERIES WINNER.

CHRIS PAUL IS CLUTCH. THE CLIPPERS ARE CLUTCH. WHAT A GAME.

LET'S GO TO HOUSTON.
