In one of the most outrageous events in NBA history, the Clippers appear to have successfully wooed DeAndre Jordan away from Dallas... and are now just hangin' out in his house until midnight eastern time, when a contract can be officially signed.
This is the craziest thing that has happened to you this week.
Locked out of the house are Mark Cuban, Chandler Parsons, and DeAndre's own agent, Dan Fegan, which is pretty spectacular when you think about it. There used to be a time when players collected offers and chose, but the desperation from both teams seems to be too much for conventional measures in this case. The Clippers party all abandoned other plans and gathered in Houston to pitch Jordan on a return, and now they're so concerned about the Mavericks stealing him again that they're staging a sit-in.
Oh, and remember how DeAndre Jordan's family had reportedly reached out to Clippers players and families about persuading Jordan to back out of his agreement with Dallas? Now, his family is apparently running security at DJ's Houston home, not allowing any agents or Mavs staff inside to speak with the All-NBA center.
Btw, it’s not the #Clippers who are keeping Mavs locked out of the house. It’s his family that’s running security! #GoingBackToCali

This is literally the most absurd thing I've ever heard.
I don't know what in the hell is going on anymore, but hopefully we'll know in about 160 minutes.
The Clippers came for a signature, and they aren't leaving DJ's living room until they get one.
