In case you missed it today, in the interview Rivers said that the plan is now to keep Crawford as part of the teams plans.
"I've heard all the rumors about Jamal going other places," Rivers said. "Jamal's a Clipper and I would be very surprised if he's not a Clipper by the season's end."
To be clear, Roggins asked him again: "You're planning on keeping him right now?"
"Yeah," Rivers responded. "Yeah. Absolutely."
All off-season, rumors have been swirling around the league, with teams such as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and New York Knicks talked about as possible destinations for Crawford. Crawford himself has helped fuel the fire by sending out tweets that seem to imply that he is unhappy with his situation.
Other topics covered were the recent reported beef between Rivers and President of Business Operations Gillian Zucker, the Snapchat conversation between DeAndre Jordan and Rivers son, Spencer Rivers, and whether or not the Clippers are a serious threat for a championship.
