Per Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers are in the planning stages of having a team mascot for the first time in franchise history (unless you count Clipper Darrell). The Clippers are currently one of just 4 NBA teams without a mascot, along with the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, and the Brooklyn Nets.
Clippers are in planning stages of having a team mascot, per source. Team won't have by opening night, but may have one by All-Star break.

Per the report, the mascot will not be ready for opening night in October, but the team may be looking to introduce the mascot by all-star break. There is no information about what the mascot will be or what it will look like, so for now, we can only use our imaginations.
Clippers are still discussing name for mascot. One suggestion was "Seagull Kneivel," but that won't be it, per souce.
