It is no secret that sports fandom has largely evolved from the one-screen experience to fans consuming their favorite teams with at least two — maybe three — screens at their disposal.
This has given rise to “live tweeting” sporting events by fans, blogs (including ourselves here at @ClipsNationSBN), and the teams themselves. No longer do we simply watch the game, but we also debate and celebrate together, all at once, through social media.
Well, Coach Nick at “BBallBreakdown” took it to another level with his in-game video analysis of the Clippers’ first game in Portland using the “Moments” feature on Twitter. Check it out:
With the ending of Vine, we might see highlights shared through this medium more often. This feature also has an added bonus that Vine did not: As Coach Nick did here, Twitter Moments allows one to aggregate highlights in an efficient way, whereas Vines and general videos are much harder to group together.
