If you enjoy watching Blake Griffin toy with opponents on the hardwood as much as I do, you’ll definitely want to take some time out of your day to watch him dominate seven-year-olds as Clif Cliff, the, uh, precocious Devil’s Nut-native (99% sure that’s a fictional place). This first episode of The Fifth Quarter takes you inside Kenny Mayne’s quest to uncover the mysterious rise and fall of one of AAU’s greatest phenoms. Featuring surprising cameos from Gary Harris, DeMarcus Cousins, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mark Cuban, and a hilariously uncomfortable performance from our very own flying Oklahoman, the mockumentary is Griffin’s latest foray into the entertainment world.
While Blake’s dialogue may be limited, his comedic chops are on full display as Clif Cliff tries to withstand his overbearing uncle and acclimate to a new life in America. It’s always exciting to see BG explore his passion for acting and comedy, and this role is no exception.
