Clippers Injury Report: Rivers Probable, Mbah a Moute Doubtful

New, comments

The Clippers could be getting a good defender back, but losing their best one.

NBA: New Orleans Pelicans at Los Angeles Clippers Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

The Clippers’ updated game notes include injury updates for Austin Rivers and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.

Rivers left Saturday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans with a concussion, and he missed Monday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers. During that game against the Blazers, Mbah a Moute suffered a right AC sprain. The AC is a joint in the shoulder.

The Clippers are designating Rivers’ status as probable, while Mbah a Moute is just doubtful. Mbah a Moute has started all 25 games for the Clippers this season, and while his replacement in some match-ups might be Rivers or Raymond Felton, tonight’s draw against Orlando could lead to Wesley Johnson getting the not. Aaron Gordon, a young, athletic 6’9” forward, has been starting for the Magic.
