Clippers Injury Report: Doc Rivers Calls Chris Paul, J.J. Redick “Doubtful” Against New Orleans

DeAndre Jordan will play with a bandaged arm.

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the Los Angeles Clippers, DeAndre Jordan found himself in a car crash yesterday.

Now, all four of the Clippers’ “Core Four” are dealing with some kind of injury, and that doesn’t include first-round selection Brice Johnson who has missed the entire season so far with an acute herniated disk in his lower back.

We’re now a little over a week past Blake Griffin’s “routine arthroscopic procedure” to remove “loose bodies” from his left knee, leaving us with 3-5 weeks left in his recovery window (which suspiciously changed from 3-6 weeks to 4-6 weeks sometime between the announcement of the procedure and the announcement that the procedure was successful).

Ramona Shelburne reported that Jordan was “ok” after his accident, but it was reported this morning that DJ was wearing a bandage on his left arm during shootaround. He’ll still play tonight, according to Doc Rivers.

As far as Chris Paul and J.J. Redick go, the official injury report lists each as “questionable”, though Doc Rivers referred to each of the two as “doubtful” when he fielded questions at shootaround this morning. He also noted that Paul is probably closer to being ready than Redick is, but that either or both could play tonight depending on their pre-game workouts.
