After getting Chris Paul back from a left hamstring strain on Wednesday night, the Clippers will once again have to play without him tonight. Fortunately, they’ll at least get their other starting guard, J.J. Redick, back after a two-game absence for a sore left hamstring.

This is one of the Clippers’ most important games of the season, as outlined in my column yesterday about seeding and tiebreakers. Redick has had success in the past as a disciplined defender against James Harden, but Houston’s new offense has turned the MVP candidate into a whole different beast. Without Paul, and given the extended absence of Blake Griffin, it’s going to be very difficult for the Clippers to keep up with the Rockets’ high-powered offense
