Austin Rivers: Ejection and Objection

Austin Rivers got ejected from the Clippers’ game against the Rockets for something he promises he didn’t do on purpose. Hear his statement on the call:

Without getting into much of the depressing play or result of the game, we should note that Austin Rivers (and then his dad, Doc Rivers) was ejected from the game as a result of this play:

“Questionable” is not quite the word for how weird of a call this was. It makes one wonder if something we did not know about happened during the game, leading the referee to a quick trigger.

Nonetheless, here is what Rivers had to say about the ejection after the game.

But these things, although frustrating, cannot be allowed to live on longer than they need to. The Clippers are in somewhat of a free-fall, so they need to shake off the extra stress and just focus on what is ahead of them.
