According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Timberwolves are continuing buyout talks with veteran SG Kevin Martin, who is expected to join the Spurs if a deal is struck.

It sounds like the door is still open, and without any specification as to "many suitors", the Clippers might still be in play. Los Angeles could really use another reliable shooter on the roster, with only J.J. Redick and Chris Paul making more than a third of their attempts. Martin is a career 39% shooter from deep who is shooting 37% for Minnesota this season.
