Luc Mbah a Moute out Wednesday, could return Friday

Clipper forward Luc Mbah a Moute will miss his fourth consecutive game tonight after suffering a lacerated eyelid last week.

Per Dan Woike of the Orange County Register, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute will miss his fourth straight game thanks to a lacerated eyelid when the Clippers take on the Thunder tonight. Luc sustained the injury after taking an accidental hand to the face during last week's win against Brooklyn. Noted basketball enigma Jeff Green will likely draw another start in his place.

He could return as soon as Friday when LAC faces the Knicks, but his absence will be sorely missed tonight as the Clippers have no obvious answer for the "who is going to guard Kevin Durant?" question. The Clips were able to take down the Thunder without their best wing defender in the lineup last week, but KD went off for 30 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks.

Durant has been in incredible form lately, as he's averaging over 31 points, 11 rebounds, 6 dimes and 2 blocks a game over the last 6 for OKC on 43% shooting from three-point range. Needless to say, the likes of Green and Paul Pierce will have their work cut out for them again in this one.
