J.J. Redick: Google Me

J.J. Redick let one hotel clerk hear it

The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz is known for being a goofy, meta-sports radio show. Among many things, Le Batard’s unique interviewing technique — in which he asks for funny stories and odd facts rather than traditional strategy or experience questions — has led to many funny and interesting moments on the show. And, this year, Clippers’ J.J. Redick made his way into the a group of the “Best Revelations” to happen on the show.

His story involves being kept out of his hotel room because of a technicality (the reservation was made under “J.J.”, even though his name is technically “John.”) Out of his frustration came an uncharacteristic moment from Redick: arrogance.

Check it out:

“Google me” is not quite how one would imagine the ever smooth J.J. Redick handling such a situation. But, on the other hand, frustration and impatience can get the best of all of us.

Either way, the guys had a good laugh about it and we here at Clips Nation like seeing Clippers win things, so give J.J. your vote by following the link on the tweet.
