Clippers big man Blake Griffin, with Ryan Kalil under their production company Mortal Media, is teaming with Blackish creator Kenya Barris to bring a remake of the 90’s sports comedy “White Men Can’t Jump” to the big screen.
White Men Can’t Jump is one of my favorite movies so while it brings me a little bit of pain to see it fall under the “Hollywood Remake” trend, I am intrigued to see what a fresh take on the classic could look like.
Nothing has been decided in terms of casting, but rumors are already swirling with names like Tyrese, Kevin Hart and Channing Tatum being thrown in as possible replacements for characters originally played by Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes.
