Watch Blake Griffin’s Buzzer-Beater Again... and Again... and Again

Never. Stop. Watching.

NBA: Los Angeles Clippers at Portland Trail Blazers Craig Mitchelldyer-USA TODAY Sports

Okay, sorry about this. But I had to.

Just watch it. Just enjoy it. Over and over and over.

Watch and watch and watch.

Look at Danilo Gallinari inbound the ball to Patrick Beverley, who finds Blake Griffin after a down screen from Lou Williams. Watch Blake come off of a Beverley screen, hesitate for just a moment, and then nail a three at the buzzer to give the Clippers the win.

Listen to Portland’s disappointed announcer mumble, “for the three and the win... got it.” Listen to the groans of the disappointed Blazers crowd.

And check out Austin Rivers, moments after being injured and fouling out, be the first one to meet Griffin with a huge embrace.

This was fun. I enjoyed this. For all the Clippers’ successes in recent years, it feels like we’ve too often been the victims of late-game heroics and oh-so-rarely the beneficiaries of them.

So let’s watch this over and over and over again.
