Agua Caliente Clippers Waive Duncan, Jones, Sykes, Callison, and Harris Following Training Camp

ACCO has trimmed their roster as the season approaches.

The Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario made announcements in the last couple of days regarding roster cuts as they head towards their first ever game on November 3rd, where they will host the Santa Cruz Warriors.

ACCO has waived Robert Duncan, Torren Jones, Josh Sykes, Charles Callison, and Tyler Harris, trimming their roster to 10. The additions of two-way players Jamil Wilson and C.J. Williams will bring the roster to 12.

Duncan, a 6’3” guard from Chico State, Jones, a 6’9” center from William Penn, and Callison, a 6’1” guard from Washington State, were all invited to training camp following their performances at local tryouts. Josh Sykes, a 6’8” forward, was drafted by ACCO in the third round of last week’s NBA G-League draft, also after impressing in a local tryout. Tyler Harris, a 6’10” power forward from Auburn, was drafted in the second round of the G-League draft.

Taylor King, a 6’8” forward from Concordia-Irvine, is the only local tryout player to make the opening night roster. He joins expansion draftees Andre Dawkins, Julian Jacobs, J.J. O’Brien, and Keith Steffeck, along with affiliate players Ike Ireogbu and Marshall Plumlee, trade acquisitions LaDontae Henton and Tyrone Wallace, and first-round G-League draft pick Tyler Roberson.
