According to a tweet from Rowan Kavner, Chris Paul has been medically cleared to play and could return to the Clippers’ lineup as early as tomorrow against the Golden State Warriors. Paul had surgery in January to repair a torn ligament in his thumb and was projected to miss 6-8 weeks, a timeline that would have held him out until at least March 1st. Now, he should return at least a week ahead of time and be in good form heading into the Clippers’ crucial game against the Houston Rockets on March 1st.
Doc said Chris Paul is medically cleared. He COULD play tomorrow but not yet decided. Doc said he looked good in practice.

The nature of Paul’s injury has allowed him to maintain his conditioning through his recovery, so while there may be rust when he returns, he shouldn’t have to struggle to get in shape.
The Clippers play the Golden State Warriors tomorrow night, and then face off against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
